Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled professional is needed to support cath lab procedures in a dynamic healthcare setting. The contract position is well-suited for someone experienced in imaging with a strong background as a Cath Lab Tech. The role offers the opportunity to work with advanced medical technology and contribute to patient care alongside a dedicated interventional team.
Key Qualifications:
Certified and registered as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent credentials. Demonstrated hands-on experience with imaging equipment and cath lab procedures. Proficient in assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Thorough understanding of radiation safety and sterile techniques. Strong ability to remain calm and focused under pressure in acute care settings. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterizations and related interventional procedures. Assist the healthcare team with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery during cath lab procedures. Ensure a sterile environment and adhere strictly to infection control protocols. Accurately document patient data, procedure details, and related imaging information. Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to ensure optimal operation during procedures. Respond promptly in emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure patient safety.
