Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited program in School Psychology Current state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and parents Understanding of special education laws, procedures, and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred by education teams Develop and interpret Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide necessary recommendations Deliver counseling services and intervention strategies to assist student emotional and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and problem-solving meetings Support school-wide initiatives for mental health, student safety, and positive behavior Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines
