We are seeking motivated professionals for a full-time, contract role supporting a middle schooler. This position focuses on providing high-quality interpreting services in classroom and campus environments from now until late May.

What youll do:

Serve as a dedicated, onsite interpreter for a single middle school student Facilitate effective and clear communication between the student, teachers, and peers Provide interpretation during instructional time, school activities, and other educational settings Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards Adapt interpreting style to support the students academic and social needs Collaborate with school staff to enhance the students classroom experience What were looking for: Current State Licensure as an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and ASL is preferred Middle school interpreting experience is a plus Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on supporting students Ability and willingness to work onsite during all school hours Availability to start as soon as possible through May 21/27 Why youll thrive in this role: Experience the fulfillment of supporting a students academic success Enjoy steady, full-time hours (37.5 per week) in a stable, school-based setting Immerse yourself in a welcoming and collaborative educational environment Utilize and further develop bilingual skills, with MSL proficiency as an added advantage If you have a passion for supporting students through sign language interpreting and want to apply your skills in a focused 1:1 school setting, we would love to hear from you.
