This is a Monday through Friday position $ 28.00-$32.00per hour depending on prior experience. The Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and supporting the accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, 10-key, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation Review invoices for proper approval, coding, and compliance Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years of recent accounts payable experience Strong data entry and 10-Key skills with a high level of accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables and v-look ups are required) Experience with accounting or ERP system Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the minimum requirements apply now!
Pay Details:
