Full Job Description General Job Brief:
At Arizona Christian University, smooth operations are key to fulfilling our mission. As a Volunteer Finance Clerk Assistant , you will assist with the backbone of our administrative engine . By donating your time to keep our paperwork organized and our systems up to date, you directly enable our finance team to make smart, timely decisions that keep our programs moving forward. This role also requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the unique Christian mission and vision of ACU to Transform Culture with Truth, and the ability to advance that mission and vision through the performance of its duties, including person-to-person mentorship and discipleship.Key Responsibilities :
In this role, you will focus on high-priority administrative tasks that keep our finance office tidy and organized. Your day-to-day volunteer responsibilities will include: Digital and physical filing: Organize paid invoices, receipts, and bank statements into their designated folders.Data entry:
Assist with entering simple numbers, like utility bills or mailing expenses, into our tracking spreadsheets.Document preparation:
Photocopy, scan, and sort financial documents to prepare them for review or archiving.Office organization:
Maintain the physical office space, ensuring finance files are clearly labeled and easy for the team to findOther Duties and Responsibilities:
Completing other duties and tasks with utmost integrity and professionalism, as directed, and not necessarily mentioned in this description, may be asked on a volunteer basis. Commitment to the University's faith statement, mission, and purposes; and an active Christian faith. Comfort and familiarity with the practice of praying with and for others, including students, faculty, and fellow University staff. The ability to meaningfully support and encourage students, faculty, and staff from a biblical worldview perspective, using relevant and applicable references from the Old and New Testaments and orthodox Christian writings. Demonstrated alignment with and enthusiastic support for the Christian Mission and Core Commitments of the University, including signing the University's Statement of Faith and Core Commitments annually.Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree is preferredAbility and Skills:
