Job Description

Recovia, LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist for our Midtown Phoenix Clinic. An Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist function is to ensure the billing process is complete after the Billing Encounter/Claim has been completed to the insurance carrier via Charge Entry and Claim Submission.

AZ 85004 HOURS
Full-time, Monday - Friday; 8-5;
PAY RANGE
$20-$21/hour
THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for resolving unresolving & unpaid claims for processing & payments in a timely manner following timely filing & payor guidelines. Billing Secondary Claims to designate Payers in Waystar with the appropriate line-item information from the primary EOB. Setting up Payment Plan Agreements for patients. Weekly Patient Statement Batching & Return Mail Updating. Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma and min. 2 years relevant experience; Associates degree preferred Knowledge of
CPT, HCPCS, ICD.9
& ICD.10, and the ability to follow coding guidelines. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and coding for
CMS, AHCCCAS
(State), and third-party billing guidelines. Excellent customer service skills Organization skills Problem solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word and Excel Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities May be required to lift materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
