Duties Process and verify a high volume of vendor invoices using Quickbooks online Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies related to accounts payable transactions. Prepare journal entries for accrued expenses and other payable transactions, adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Manage invoice approval workflows, utilizing automation tools like AP automation platforms or Paychex to streamline operations. Conduct data entry with precision into accounting systems such as QuickBooks Assist in month-end closing processes by reconciling the general ledger and preparing reports for management review. Requirements Proven experience in accounts payable processing within a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong understanding of accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and account reconciliation. Proficiency with financial software such as Quickbooks and Excel Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Familiarity with accounts receivable management, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and invoice processing workflows.
