Job Description
Will be responsible for performing core accounts payable duties, including processing vendor vouchers, managing check runs, and executing ACH, wire, and manual payments. Additional responsibilities include entering bank deposits, handling sales and use tax procedures, reconciling outstanding checks, setting up new vendors in the ERP system, and providing general office and administrative support such as managing office supplies and mail.
Scope:
Reports to theController and Accounting Supervisor Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive and review daily incoming mail for Payables
- Orders and maintains adequate levels of all general office and furniture supplies.
- Adding Postage to the Postage Machine in the Receptionist Area.
- Entering Allocation Breakdown to Account Setup
- Entering Debits
- Entering Deposits for Standard Checks
- Entering Deposits for Wire Transfers
- Entering Journal Entries for Bank Fees
- Environmental Fee Return Procedure
- Generate Accounts Payable Voucher Transactions
- Initiates the Check Run ready in the ERP System
- Journal Posting for Accounts Payable
- Printing Checks
- Mailing out the Checks
- Manual Check Processing
- Orthene-Surface Transforms Entries
- Payment Generation
- Assist with Payroll Check Deposits
- Processing a Wire Transfer
- Transferring Money between Bank Accounts for Wire Transfers

Qualifications Requirements:

Minimum High School diploma with one to two years' office support experience.Skills and Abilities:
- Good computer skills with knowledge of and some experience with Word and Excel.
- Average math skills with the ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations.
- Familiar with and/or experience with MRP/ERP system(s)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
