AR/AP specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in West Hollywood, California, and offers an excellent opportunity to manage essential financial functions for a dynamic organization. Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and update financial data efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate tracking of transactions.
• Prepare and review financial statements to support organizational planning and decision-making.
• Monitor and record daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to financial records in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to support audits and financial reviews.
• Generate reports and summaries to assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records for easy access. Requirements
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial data and transactions.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Expertise in bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Strong analytical skills to prepare and interpret financial statements.
• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining documentation and records.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate financial information clearly.
• Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting practices is a plus.
