Job Overview The Bookkeeper is responsible for managing financial records, accurately and timely. We are seeking a growth-minded individual to join our accounting team at Bayshire Senior Communities. The candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Schedule:
8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday 100% in person, no remote option Responsibilities Process payments and receipts, ensuring they are entered into accounting software and logs accurately and timely. Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, research discrepancies and resolve billing issues. Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation for high profile vendors to ensure all invoices are accounted for. Reconcile credit card statements with company records to ensure proper tracking of expenditures. Perform monthly bank reconciliations by comparing company records with bank statements to ensure consistency and accuracy. Qualifications Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills and time management skills. 1-2 years of accounts payable experience (Recommended). Knowledge of accounting systems, such as QuickBooks Pro; Sage Intacct; Oracle NetSuite (Recommended).
