Our team is made up of dedicated, friendly professionals who are committed to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to support our physician-owner with financial recordkeeping, patient accounts, administrative tasks, and medical billing. Medical billing experience is a plus but training will be provided for the right candidate. The ideal candidate has a background in finance or accounting, is proficient in Microsoft Excel, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Record and maintain daily financial transactions. Verify and post transactions accurately to the appropriate ledgers. Reconcile insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and post patient payments. Process accounts receivable and accounts payable. Verify patients' insurance eligibility. Obtain authorizations for HMO patients. Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate financial records. Provide administrative support as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred. Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. Excellent data entry and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Bilingual in Vietnamese or Spanish is preferred.
