Job Description State of the art audio visual company seeking a AR Specialist to start immediately.
Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:
Freelancer contractor PO's -determination of rates, hours worked and pay for technicians (PO)Purchase order processing and tracking Credit Card coding and accumulation of receipts Credit Card processing of payment from clients Bank reconciliations Record daily ACH receivables in Sage Experience converting customer quotes to sales orders and Invoicing Understanding and calculating Multistate Sales tax when invoicing clients The ability to identify discrepancies and resolve invoicing or order-related issues (COI) Certificate of Insurance Collection from client on file Prepare weekly check deposits and record in Sage Perform new client credit checks Consistant email monitoring and timely followup Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts. Generating reports and statements for internal use. Highly organized and the ability to multitask and manage priorities. High volume data entry with attention to detail and accuracy Strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlinesAR Specialist Requirements:
Combination of education and 6 years of AR / AP experience may be accepted. Strong math, typing, and computer skill, especially with bookkeeping software. Excellent communication, research, problem solving, and time management skills. High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Attention to detail. Ability to maintain accurate customer order and accounting records Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments. Strong communication and followEXPERIENCE
Minimum of 6 years accounting experience in AR Dependable, punctual, time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Positive, persistent, and personable phone etiquette, able to collect money and build vendor relationships Must be able to handle fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task Multi State Sales tax knowledge Sage 50 or similar accounting software experience Strong communication and follow-through skills R2 inventory management experience is a plus but not necessary Team oriented and able to work effectively across departments Comfortable working in a face paced high volume environment Advanced Excel experience for accounting using V-Lookup and Pivot TableJOB TYPE
