Job Description

Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with cash and payment application
  • Experience with accounting/bookkeeping
  • Experience with processing/operations within an Accounts Receivable department
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, the A/R Coordinator performs a variety of tasks and operations within the Accounts Receivable Department. The position functions as a team member within the department and organization and performs assigned duties to best serve the company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle cash and payment application
  • Perform accounting and bookkeeping activities
  • Accumulate, sort, and file receivable documentation to facilitate research and reconciliation
  • Prepare, print, and process invoices
  • Verify invoice adjustments as needed
  • Record deposits, transfers, voids, non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks, and associated activity
  • Print reports for management and other departments
  • Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records, including filing and statements
  • Provide backup support to other accounting or administrative staff as needed
