Job Description
Under direct supervision, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator performs a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, cash-handling, and payment-processing tasks within the Accounts Receivable Department. Job Requirement Handle cash receipts and payment application accurately and efficiently. Perform accounting and bookkeeping functions related to Accounts Receivable. Accumulate, sort, organize, and file accounts receivable documentation to facilitate research, reconciliation, and recordkeeping. Prepare, print, and process customer invoices. Review and verify invoice adjustments as needed. Record deposits, transfers, voids, non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks, and related account activity. Prepare and print reports for management and other departments. Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records, including filing and customer statements. Assist with account research and reconciliation as needed. Provide backup support to other accounting and administrative staff. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience with cash handling and payment application. Experience with accounting and bookkeeping. Previous experience with Accounts Receivable processing, operations, or related administrative functions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and recordkeeping skills. Ability to handle financial information responsibly and confidentially. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with basic computer and office applications.
