Job Description
Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day payment operations and maintain accurate financial records for the organization in Los Angeles, California.
Responsibilities:
- Review incoming invoices for completeness, accuracy, and proper approval before entering them into the accounting system.
- Assign correct general ledger coding to invoices and expenses to support accurate financial reporting.
- Process vendor payments through scheduled check runs and other approved payment methods within established timelines.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to answer payment questions and address outstanding items.
- Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing payable-related reports and account reconciliations.
- Enter and manage accounts payable transactions in NetSuite while helping keep data current and reliable. Requirements
- Hands-on experience working in accounts payable with responsibility for full-cycle invoice and payment processing.
- Practical knowledge of NetSuite and confidence navigating accounting systems for daily AP tasks.
- Experience coding invoices accurately to appropriate accounts and cost centers.
- Familiarity with check runs, vendor payments, and accounts payable recordkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and follow through on corrections.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a structured finance environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with vendors and internal stakeholders.
