Job Description
Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist We are seeking an experienced and dependable Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to assist with daily accounting and office operations in a busy, fast-paced automotive business.
Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Enter and track invoices, bills, and payments Prepare and write business checks accurately Maintain organized payment records and receipts Reconcile vendor statements and accounts Track outstanding balances and follow up as needed Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payments Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized files Assist with general accounting and office duties as neededRequirements:
Previous Accounts Payable/Receivable experience Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills (Preferred) Comfortable creating and updating spreadsheets Able to prepare and write business checks accurately QuickBooks experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organization and time-management skills Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Able to manage multiple priorities, invoices, payments, and deadlines at the same time Must remain organized and accurate while handling interruptions and changing priorities Strong communication and problem-solving skillsIMPORTANT
This is a hands-on position. Applicants must already be comfortable using Excel, handling invoices, processing payments, and preparing checks. Training will be provided on our specific company procedures, but basic accounting and office computer skills are required.Pay:
