Job Description:
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Temporary AP/AR Clerk to join a client in Milpitas. This position is scheduled to last 2 months through the middle of July. The position is 100% onsite. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents Verify approvals and resolve invoice discrepancies Prepare and process weekly or biweekly payment runs Maintain organized AP files and records Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send customer invoices Apply customer payments and post cash receipts Monitor aging reports and assist with collections follow-up Resolve billing issues and discrepancies with customers
General Accounting Support:
Assist with month-end closing activities Reconcile AP and AR accounts as needed Enter financial data into accounting systems Support audits and provide documentation when requested Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. 0-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience Basic understanding of accounting principles Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
