Responsibilties:

This position is responsible for managing / administering the following important areas: Ø Tenant transactions & processes, including rents, security deposits, tenant move-ins / move-outs, etc. Ø Accounts payable, vendors and records Ø Property owner cash management, monthly reporting & tax reporting Ø Company accounting and management reporting (using Quickbooks), general recordkeeping & filing Ø Company employee administration Ø General property management responsibilities from time to time Key Candidate Attributes We are looking for someone with the following key attributes: Ø A motivated, self-starter that takes pride in his/her work Ø Drive and energy to take ownership of all responsibilities Ø A high level of attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy Ø A flexible approach that always looks for ways to improve the way work is done, especially as it relates to leveraging technology Ø Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in working with fellow employees and key constituents including owners, tenants and vendors

Education, Skills & Experience:

Ø 3+ years accounting / bookkeeping experience at a small / medium business with property management accounting experience preferred Ø Tertiary education in accounting (degree or diploma) preferred Ø Computer literate, proficient in Word, Excel & Outlook. Ø Fluent Spanish highly preferred Ø Familiarity / experience with property management software, especially RentManager is a big plus

The Opportunity:

Ø This position provides the opportunity to work in a real estate office, under the supervision of a broker, as required to qualify for a California Real Estate Broker's license Ø It offers a compensation package that include a competitive hourly wage, (commensurate with skills and experience), substantial retirement account contribution (when eligible) and participation in a bonus program

Pay:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
