Overview Founded in 1990 by Capcom owner/CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto, Kenzo Estate is a pristine 3,800-acre wild preserve where nature and viticulture converge. Position Summary The Accounting Clerk role supports the administrative team in daily financial operations. This role ensures the accurate recording of transactions in compliance with accounting standards, including accounts payable and receivable, merchant processing, account reconciliations and journal entries. Creating a professional work environment through efficiency and organization is key. Duties Perform data entry and maintain records of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions using financial software such as QuickBooks and Excel Reconcile account statements, and journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and applicable governmental accounting standards. Manage accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and ensuring timely disbursements. Handle accounts receivable functions including ACH payments and customer service inquiries related to billing. Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information. Support month-end closing activities. Skills Strong understanding of accounting concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and financial statement analysis. Experience in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel. Knowledge of GAAP standards and accounting practices. Excellent organizational skills combined with strong math abilities for accurate data entry and account analysis. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping. Adept in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel—for data analysis, spreadsheets management, and report generation. Prior experience in accounting or a corporate accounting environments is preferred. $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
