Location:
This is a fully in-person role at our office location. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, and ledger management using QuickBooks Desktop. Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheets regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness. Process payroll accurately and efficiently while adhering to applicable regulations and standards. Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections. Maintain compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards for accurate financial reporting. Prepare detailed financial reports, summaries, and analyses using Microsoft Excel to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes. Assist with audit preparations by organizing financial documents and ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with organizational policies. Requirements QuickBooks Desktop experience is a strict must. Candidates without hands-on expertise in the desktop version will not be considered. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis, formula creation, and financial report formatting. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles. Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis. Experience with payroll processing and managing accounts payable/receivable functions. Strong understanding of GAAP standards and general ledger accounting practices. Ability to work independently with high attention to detail while managing multiple priorities effectively.
