Accounting Clerk at Ledgent Finance & Accounting Accounting Clerk at Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Pasadena, California Posted in about 7 hours ago. $25.00 per hour An established investment management organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of its Accounting team. This role is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys working with financial data, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a collaborative environment. This role is onsite Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm. Responsibilities Process financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records. Prepare and distribute payments, including check processing. Update and reconcile accounting ledger entries. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and supporting documentation. Create, review, and maintain employee expense reports. Communicate with clients regarding account-related inquiries and documentation requests. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal accounting procedures. Support the Accounting team with administrative and operational tasks as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and data analysis functions. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Attributes Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members. Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
