Since 1953, the company has become a premier distributor of full-range, high-quality heavy equipment for construction, composting, demolition, forestry, crushing, screening, grinding and shredding, recycling, and scrap handling. We sell, rent, and service new and used heavy equipment. We have locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Washington State. We are looking for someone interested in joining a stable, fast-growing company with a passion for success. The Accounts Payable Specialist position would be in our corporate office in Placentia, CA. Duties and Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments. Match, review, and verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. Reconcile vendor statements and research and resolve payment discrepancies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records within the accounting system. Set up new vendors in the accounting system by collecting and verifying required documentation, completing vendor records, and preparing and submitting credit applications as needed. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and in a timely manner. Prepare check runs, process and mail checks, process credit card and online payments, and scan payment documentation to maintain accurate and organized electronic records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper expense coding and invoice approvals. Assist with the annual 1099 process by gathering vendor information, maintaining accurate records, and supporting year-end reporting requirements. Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Accounts Payable department. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and other departments.
