Join a team that values hospitality, teamwork, and work-life balance. As a member of our Accounting team, you'll play an important role in supporting the financial operations of Cattlemens. From processing invoices and reconciling accounts to assisting with payroll and month-end reporting, you'll help ensure our accounting processes remain accurate, organized, and running smoothly. What You'll Do Process invoices and ensure proper account coding, documentation, and required approvals. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies by working with vendors and appropriate team members. Enter and maintain accurate information within accounting systems and records. Verify and prepare checks for distribution and mailing. Reconcile bank statements and assist with maintaining accurate financial records. Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare monthly reports as needed. Support payroll processing, including reviewing time records for accuracy and assisting with vacation pay and insurance eligibility. Prepare required accounting and financial reports accurately and on time. Maintain organized accounting department files, records, and supporting documentation. Prepare and distribute professional correspondence, emails, memoranda, and other communications as needed. Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Accounting department. Assist with special projects and other accounting-related responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle confidential financial and employee information with professionalism and discretion. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Comfortable working with accounting systems, spreadsheets, and other business software. Ability to research discrepancies, identify solutions, and follow through to resolution. Dependable team player who can work independently while supporting the needs of the Accounting department.
