Full Job Description Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred Associate's or Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred Healthcare billing experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Review, correct, and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate with patients, insurance companies, government agencies, and third-party payers regarding billing and reimbursement. Review unpaid accounts and initiate appropriate collection and follow-up activities. Resolve denied and past-due claims to maximize reimbursement. Calculate and process write-offs, debit adjustments, and credit adjustments. Post insurance and patient payments accurately to the appropriate accounts. Calculate, verify, and post contractual adjustments. Maintain accurate billing documentation and account records. Meet established productivity and quality performance standards. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. #Workwolf
