Job description and duties summary (not comprehensive): Steam Cleaners, Inc. is looking for an Accounting Assistant to, among other duties, complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. As a company, we aim to provide quality service in an honest and efficient manner; we expect the Accounts Payable clerk to perform his/her duties similarly. The Accounting Assistant should have at least 3 years of experience with accounting software for businesses, preferably with Quickbooks Enterprise. This person should also be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel. They should also have an inventory background. In addition to accounting and inventory experience, the Accounting Assistant should also have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and customer service skills, as clerical duties such as answering phones are necessary for this position. This person may also be asked to support the sales and service teams with contacting customers via phone or email for customer service issues, to provide quotes, etc.

Compensation:

The Accounts Payable clerk will be paid hourly, the wage to be determined based on experience. There are benefits and retirement plans available.
