Accounts Receivable and Cash Management Specialist Job Description:

PrideStaff Financial is working with a local manufacturing company who is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Cash Management Specialist. The Accounts Receivable and Cash Management Specialist will manage the entire AR lifecycle, collections, and treasury activities. The Accounts Receivable and Cash Management Specialist requires exceptional accuracy and strong communication to manage cash flow, credit risk, and internal compliance while maintaining high customer experience standards. The ideal Accounts Receivable and Cash Management Specialist has a minimum of three years of hands-on experience with AR, cash flow, collections. The Accounts Receivable and Cash Management Specialist will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

Accounts Receivable and Cash Management Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:

Generate & Issue Customer Invoices Accurately Based on Contracts, Purchase Orders, & Milestones While Maintaining Customer Master Data, Billing Contracts, Terms, & Tax Exemptions Post Customer Payments Daily, Reconcile Remittance Advice, Resolve Short-Pays or Unapplied Cash, & Support PCI-Aligned Practices by Reconciling Merchant Settlements Manage Past Due Balances, Through Customer Outreach, Negotiate Payment Plans, Perform Customer Credit Reviews, & Recommend Appropriate Credit Terms & Limits Compile Daily Bank Activity to Update The Cash Position, Assist With Weekly & Monthly Bank Reconciliations, & Provide Short-Term Cash Inflow Projections & Forecast Inputs Prepare Weekly Aging Reports, Calculate DSO Metrics, Coordinate AR Accruals & Revenue Cutoffs, & Provide Bad-Debt Recommendations Investigate BIlling or Payment Discrepancies by Coordinating Directly With Sales, Operations, & Shipping Departments Accurately Dispute Resolution Cycle Times & Drive Down Bad Debt Write-Off Percentages Assist With Additional Financial Business Needs as

Directed Accounts Receivable and Cash Management Specialist Requirements & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 3+ Years of Hands-On Accounts Receivable Experience Strong Familiarity With ERP Systems, Bank/Merchant Portals, & Advanced Excel Capabilities Including

VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

& Pivot Tables Proficient With Accounting, Database, & Internet Software, With Intermediate-to-Advanced Knowledge of MS Office, Including Strong Knowledge of Excel Direct Experience With an HRIS Payroll System Capable of Writing Routine Financial Reports & Professional Correspondence, With The Ability to Speak Effectively Before Groups of Customers or Employees Strong Interpersonal Skills to Communicate Effectively & Collaborate Seamlessly Across Different Departments Demonstrates Exceptional Communication & High Attention to Details Demonstrates a Deep Knowledge of UCC Terms, Sales/Use Tax Concepts, & Basic GAAP Principles Apply All Incoming Cash Swiftly Within 24-48 Hour Window While Ensuring High Cash Forecast Accuracy Demonstrates Superb Time Management & Organizational Skills Occasionally Required to Stand, Walk, Sit, Reach, Climb, Balance, Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl Constantly Required to Talk & Hear to Collaborate With Team Members & Customers Regularly Required to Lift & Move up to 25lbs
