Gold Rush Express Delivery is a family-owned and operated Bay Area delivery and logistics company approaching 40 years in business . We are looking for an experienced, dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper to become an important part of our team. This position will be in our San Jose office during training , with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid office/remote schedule once fully trained and comfortable with our business. Responsibilities Customer billing and invoicing Accounts Receivable (A/R) Follow-up and collections on past-due accounts Employee payroll Independent contractor settlements QuickBooks Online entries and reconciliations Work with ownership and operations to resolve billing and payment issues Accounts Payable (A/P) will be added over time as you become familiar with our processes What We're Looking For Strong QuickBooks Online experience Previous bookkeeping experience Experience with billing, A/R and payroll Comfortable professionally contacting customers regarding past-due invoices Strong attention to detail and accuracy Organized and dependable Able to work independently and follow through Small-business or family-owned business experience preferred Experience with independent contractors, transportation, courier or logistics businesses is a plus, but not required. Schedule & Pay 25-30 hours per week Monday-Friday $32-$36 per hour, depending on experience.
