Accounts Receivable Specialist PeopleScape HR is managing recruitment for this position on behalf of our client, Veritas Managed Solutions. Veritas Managed Solutions is a growing technology integration company specializing in structured cabling, security, wireless, audio/video, IT, and electrical solutions. We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who enjoys keeping billing accurate, resolving payment issues, and working with project teams to keep receivables moving.

Pay:

$35-$45 per hour, depending on experience, plus a performance bonus opportunity What You'll Do Prepare, review, and submit customer invoices accurately and on time. Record invoices and payments in QuickBooks. Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on past-due accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies. Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts. Work with Project Managers and Operations on billing details and documentation that may affect payment. Support progress billing, schedules of values, retention, change orders, and project closeout billing when applicable. Assist with customer billing portals, lien releases, and payment documentation. Maintain Excel tracking reports and support month-end AR reconciliation. What You Bring Approximately three to five years of accounts receivable experience. Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel. Experience with invoicing, payment application, collections, and account reconciliation. Clear, professional communication with customers and internal teams. Strong organization and the ability to manage deadlines and resolve discrepancies independently. Construction or contractor AR experience is especially helpful, including progress billing, schedules of values, retention, lien releases, and customer billing portals.
