ACCOUNT RECEIVABLE/PAYABLE & HR
Seeking Full Time to perform the routine of billing functions, plan, organize, lead and control the general accounting, payroll, to assure achievement of the company's goals and objectives. We offer competitive salary, growth opportunities, paid sick and vacation leave.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Major duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 2 years of prior experience High attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Ability to problem solve QuickBooks experience Working knowledge of Excel great plains
Account Receivable & Payable Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full accounts payable and receivable cycle, and maintaining records Monthly Reconciling the accounts receivable/payable ledger Generating financial statements and A/R reports Developing, implementing, and maintaining A/R accounting policies and procedures Clerical functions such as billing, monthly statements, etc. Treasury bank deposits, manual wire payments, and credit card transactions Posting payments to the general ledger Analyzing customer payment plan, payment history, and credit line Collecting customer payments in accordance with payment due dates Making collection calls on outstanding accounts Submitting delinquent accounts to attorney or outside agency for collection Process small-claims complaints Process invoices and receipts for payment including the issuance of checks and manage vendor billing relationships, record bills and payments in the accounting system
Payroll Responsibilities:
Collecting and verifying timesheets Entering employee information and payroll data into the system Answering employee questions and concerns regarding payroll Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, and deductions Processing new employees, promotions, and terminations Issuing and delivering paychecks to employees Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies Recruiting and staffing logistics Organization development Regulatory compliance and reporting Employee orientation Policy development and documentation Employee safety, welfare, and wellness education Maintaining and updating payroll records Process bi-weekly payroll QMP/Alkavida Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
