Job Description

Are you someone who enjoys bringing order to the details, solving discrepancies, and keeping financial processes moving forward? Aquamor is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Temecula. In this role, you will support both accounts receivable and accounts payable, communicate with customers and vendors, and partner with departments throughout the company to resolve issues and maintain accurate financial records. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable 2. Process customer/vendor invoices, statements, and credit/debit memos according to policies. 3. Maintain open communication with stakeholders regarding receivables and payables. 4. Prepare/process weekly AR aging spreadsheet to track collection progress on overdue customer accounts. 5. Act as liaison between the Sales Department and Accounting Department for credit terms, credit memos, and customer issues. 6. Respond to all customer/vendor inquiries and address any discrepancies in a timely, professional, and efficient manner. 7. Assist in month-end/year-end close as needed. 8. Process employee reimbursement requests that come through Kissflow or manually delivered 9. Perform weekly check run duties 10.Prepare analysis of AR and AP accounts, as required. 11.Assist department with various external audits. 12.Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. 2-3 years of related experience required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Suitable for excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills. Must work effectively and relate well with others, including co-workers, management, and outside vendors. Intermediate proficiency in using a variety of computer software applications, especially
Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, and Outlook.
