We've grown a bit since then. Today, we are the largest manufacturer of mozzarella and lactose in the world, and a leading producer of whey protein. We are seeking a dynamic Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team. Overview This position will assist the Plant Controller and Accounting Supervisor in maintaining accurate and timely operational reporting and financial statements for the Tracy Plant; production information relative to the plant; and ensure company financial objectives are met. Under general supervision performs analytical tasks and initiates an above average knowledge of office practices, specific experience or training.
Rate of Pay:
$30.84 per hour What we ask of you: This role performs a wide variety of accounting and administrative tasks and analysis including: Supports the administration of local payroll duties for non-exempt payroll processes. Capital Project Invoice processing Performs inventory research and analyzes related data. Prepares and analyzes utility reporting for the plant. Prepares and analyzes yield and efficiency reporting for all production departments. Cross trains on all departmental roles and responsibilities, including accounts payable, payroll, and receptionist; and provides coverage during times of team member absence. Miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned. You Have (Minimum Qualifications): Two years of accounting experience, or equivalent higher education. Minimum of a high school diploma. Must be at least 18 years or older. Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language. Must be able to demonstrate skills competency by scoring a satisfactory score on the following assessments: Microsoft Word and Excel, accounting skills assessment to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and typing.
