This key role handles all aspects of full-cycle bookkeeping, financial record-keeping, and reporting while ensuring strict compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. As our primary financial steward, you will maintain precise ledger entries, perform monthly account reconciliations, and prepare detailed financial statements to support our long-term financial health. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes, including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), payroll processing, and monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare, review, and post journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain ledger accuracy and completeness. Oversee general ledger activities in alignment with GAAP and internal SOX control frameworks. Conduct monthly account analyses and resolve balance discrepancies through thorough investigation and clear documentation. Process employee payroll using standard platforms (e.g., ADP, Kronos, Paychex, Ceridian) while ensuring tax and benefit compliance. Generate financial statements—including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports—for management review. Maintain complete confidentiality and data security while handling sensitive corporate financial information.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Proven track record in full-charge bookkeeping, public accounting, or corporate finance.
Accounting Knowledge:
Strong foundation in double-entry bookkeeping, debits/credits, GAAP, and governmental accounting standards.
Software Proficiency:
Hands-on expertise with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Workday) and payroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro).
Technical Skills:
Advanced data entry precision and spreadsheet proficiency (Excel/Google Sheets).
Core Competencies:
Strong analytical problem-solving skills, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet tight deadlines discreetly.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
