Job Description

A well-established Boulder custom builder specializing in high-end, sustainable construction is seeking a full-time Office & Accounting Assistant to support accounting, project management, and office operations. We are looking for a dependable, organized person who can manage multiple priorities, take ownership of day-to-day processes, and keep things moving. Responsibilities Manage AP/AR, invoice entry and coding, billing, deposits, payments, credit card expenses, reimbursements, and vendor reconciliations Manage construction draws, including logs, reports, client packages, bank submissions, lien releases, and payment posting Support payroll, timekeeping, job-cost accounting, and coding follow-up Maintain vendor/subcontractor W-9s, COIs, invoices, and compliance records Set up clients and maintain files in QuickBooks, SharePoint, and related systems Handle phones, email, mail, filing, new-lead routing, and general office administration Assist with employee onboarding and recurring accounting/office deadlines
Qualifications Required:
Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop Experience with bookkeeping, AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and accounting administration Strong Excel, Outlook, organizational, and communication skills Must be in-person Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable Construction/job-cost accounting, Buildertrend, and SharePoint experience preferred Interest in sustainability is a big plus
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$45,000-$55,000 annually, commensurate with experience 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO)
Paid Holidays and Sick Leave Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
