Accounts Payable Specialist Part-Time Pay:

$27.00-$32.00 per hour We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist - Part Time to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background who enjoys working independently while collaborating with others to ensure accurate and timely financial operations. Responsibilities Perform general bookkeeping and accounting functions Process weekly accounts payable, including invoice entry, approvals, and check processing Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies Maintain account ledgers, including fixed assets and other financial records Record and monitor daily financial transactions Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory examinations Respond to vendor and branch inquiries regarding invoices and payments Support the accounting team with additional projects and administrative duties as needed Qualifications 2-4 years of accounting experience (banking experience preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Experience with general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, and financial statement preparation Accounts payable and fixed asset accounting experience Experience with AvidXchange or similar accounting software preferred Familiarity with FIS Banking Systems is a plus Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a team environment #
