Property Accounting Specialist (AR/AP) Location Greenwood Village, CO Employment Type Full-Time | On-Site Compensation $65,000 - $80,000 per year Industry Healthcare Commercial Real Estate About FSB Healthcare Realty FSB Healthcare Realty is a Colorado-based commercial real estate firm specializing in the management, leasing, accounting, and operation of medical office and healthcare properties. We are seeking a Property Accounting Specialist to join our growing team and support a diverse portfolio of healthcare real estate assets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both accounting and operations and wants exposure to multiple areas of commercial real estate ownership and management. Position Overview The Property Accounting Specialist supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, tenant billing, collections, vendor management, and portfolio accounting functions across our healthcare real estate portfolio. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions on time, and supporting strong tenant and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable coordinating with accounting, property management, and lease administration teams in a deadline-driven environment. What You Will DoAccounts Payable
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding, documentation, and approvals.
  • Prepare ACH, wire, and check payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.
  • Monitor invoice aging and payment deadlines.
  • Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with annual 1099 reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Support capital project and tenant improvement invoice tracking. Accounts Receivable
  • Post tenant payments and cash receipts.
  • Maintain accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Assist with tenant collections and payment follow-up.
  • Investigate and resolve tenant billing questions.
  • Monitor delinquent accounts and support collection efforts.
  • Coordinate with property managers regarding outstanding balances.
  • Assist with annual CAM and operating expense reconciliations. Property and Portfolio Support
  • Support tenant billing administration, including rent, CAM, operating expenses, and miscellaneous recoveries.
  • Maintain tenant and lease information within Yardi.
  • Review lease documentation to support billing accuracy.
  • Coordinate with accounting, lease administration, and property management teams.
  • Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
  • Support audits, reporting requests, and special projects.
  • Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation. What We Are Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Three or more years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, accounting, or property accounting experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial real estate or property accounting experience.
  • Healthcare real estate experience.
  • Experience with Yardi or similar property accounting software.
  • Experience with tenant billings and collections.
  • Exposure to lease administration or CAM reconciliations. What We Offer
