Bookkeeper Farmington, CT $80,000 – $90,000 Join a Growing Construction Company with a Strong Team Culture Are you an organized and detail-oriented accounting professional looking to join a company where your work truly matters? We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our growing construction team and play an important role in supporting the financial operations of a successful and respected organization. You'll work closely with leadership and operations teams while gaining valuable experience in construction accounting and business operations. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable Process vendor invoices, payments, and customer billing Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts Assist with monthly financial reporting and month-end close activities Track expenses, receipts, and project-related costs Support payroll processing and reporting Assist with job costing and construction project accounting Maintain organized financial documentation and records Provide administrative and accounting support to the finance team as needed What We're Looking For 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred Construction industry experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn Why Join Our Team?
