Non-Exempt Summary:
Perform accounting tasks for the Restaurants and Hotel by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice coding and entry, vendor communications, statement reconciliations, and aging report review Perform daily revenue accounting for all properties, including journal entries from point-of-sale and property management systems and related guest and room charge adjustments Complete daily, monthly, and ad hoc reconciliations, including gift cards, sales taxes, and other general ledger accounts Perform cash handling and control functions, including cash receiving, verification, deposit preparation, and petty cash and drawer maintenance Support the month-end close process through journal entries, account reviews, and expense coding accuracy Maintain complete, accurate, and well-organized accounting records and supporting documentation Assist the Senior Accountant with audits, reporting, special projects, and process improvements as assigned

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to write clear, concise emails, and communicate project status to the Senior Accountant.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, general ledger account allocations, and to balance invoice entries. Ability to determine if vendor payments have been applied to accounts accurately and if not where the discrepancy occurred and fix it.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Mac Computers, and Mac computer functions including calendar.
Education/Experience:
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
