Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's finance team. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring customer accounts, and supporting the overall collections process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcess customer invoices accurately and in a timely mannerPost payments and reconcile customer accountsMonitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balancesInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cashCommunicate with customers regarding payment status and account inquiriesPrepare account statements and collection reportsMaintain accurate records of transactions and customer communicationsSupport month-end close activities related to accounts receivableCollaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and accounting, to resolve issuesEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
