Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join their accounting team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of accounting and is comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day accounting responsibilities. Responsibilities

+ Handle full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

+ Prepare and post journal entries

+ Perform monthly and ongoing account reconciliations

+ Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

+ Research and resolve accounting discrepancies

+ Assist with account analysis

+ Review transactions for accuracy and proper coding

+ Maintain accurate and organized accounting records

+ Assist with general ledger activities and account maintenance

+ Prepare various accounting reports and schedules

+ Support the accounting team with special projects and other duties as needed Requirements 5+ years of accounting experience required Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, but not required Experience with full cycle AP and AR including billing, collections and cash applications At least light experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting Basic Excel skills required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
