Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable full time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role you will handle day-to-day financial operations for the firm, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality and compliant with legal trust account rules (IOLTA). This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive and experienced in law firm financial procedures. Duties Maintain accurate general ledger entries using QuickBooks. Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently while adhering to organizational policies. Prepare journal entries and analyze account activity for discrepancies. Support attorneys and staff with billing and invoicing. Creating settlement sheets and working with lien holders. Ensure compliance with bar association trust accounting requirements. Work with our CPA and bookkeeping firm for tax and year-end reporting. Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks. Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and account analysis. Experience with tax preparation support and payroll processing is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
