Responsibilities Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process Reconcile credit card accounts Process accounts payable and assist with payroll processing Maintain and update financial records and filing systems (both digital and paper) Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Process purchase receipts for landscaping jobs Track inventory, purchases, and team member deductions for company apparel Maintain safety training meeting logs and keep compliance waivers up to date Support the accountant and operations manager with administrative tasks as needed Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Basic understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with data entry and working with numbers and spreadsheets Willingness to learn, take direction, and work both independently and as part of a team Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a regular, dependable attendance record Must be 18 years of age or older Benefits Competitive pay Company-wide bonuses 401(k) with company match Health insurance Voluntary dental, vision, accident, critical illness, and life insurance Team member discounts Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays Team member appreciation perks Training and career development opportunities Supportive work environment focused on growth and success Offered compensation: $23/hr - $28/hr Experience and License Requirements Accounting Bookkeeping
