Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of the company's accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial operations. Your expertise in various accounting software and systems, combined with a strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards, will drive the integrity of our financial data. Duties Manage the full spectrum of bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring proper double-entry bookkeeping practices are followed. Reconcile balance sheets and perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Maintain accurate records using utilizing QuickBooks. Ensure compliance with internal controls for financial reporting and data security. Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and timeliness. Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and audit preparations by providing detailed account analysis and supporting documentation. Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining high levels of customer service for internal stakeholders. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with a strong foundation in corporate and governmental accounting standards. Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar platforms. Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP principles and technical accounting concepts. Strong data entry skills with high accuracy; proficiency in Excel data analysis and spreadsheet management is essential. Excellent numeracy skills combined with the ability to perform account reconciliation and journal entries efficiently. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and ensure clarity in financial reporting.
