Job Description

Position Overview We are looking for a highly organized, detail-obsessed bookkeeping/data entry guru to help with our accounting operations across a growing portfolio of real estate, construction, and trades companies. You'll work directly with our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & accounting team to ensure our financial systems are accurate, efficient, and ready to scale. This is a key position within a high-performing, fast-moving organization. Key Responsibilities Multi-Entity Accounting Enter transactions across multiple related companies Maintain intercompany transactions accurately Prepare and post recurring and adjusting journal entries (accruals, payroll, allocations, etc.) Accounts Payable / Receivable Record vendor invoices, match POs, and ensure timely payments Prepare and record customer invoices, deposits, and receipts Track aging reports and assist in collections when needed Reporting & Support Assist CFO with month-end close, reporting, and year-end prep Maintain digital filing systems and documentation for easy audit access Compliance Support tax preparation, audit requests, and financial reviews Follow internal accounting policies with precision and consistency Qualifications Education & Experience Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally within construction, trades, or real estate Demonstrated experience handling multi-entity or intercompany accounting is a huge plus Technical Skills QuickBooks Online experience Proficient in Excel (basic formulas, vlookups, pivot tables) Familiar with ServiceTitan , LeadPerfection and/or Housecall Pro a plus Understanding of job costing is preferred Knowledge of AI and willing to use and learn in a work environment Soft Skills Impeccable attention to detail Highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage deadlines across multiple entities Trustworthy, discreet, and reliable with sensitive information Excellent communicator — able to collaborate with field, admin, and executive teams Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and performance Opportunities for professional growth within a multi-entity organization which is expanding rapidly
