Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper to assist with the accounting and financial records for multiple businesses, properties, and related entities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with QuickBooks Desktop and Excel . We are looking for someone who understands bookkeeping beyond basic data entry and is comfortable identifying discrepancies, researching issues, and maintaining accurate and well-organized records. Responsibilities Accounts payable and accounts receivable Bank and credit-card reconciliations Enter and properly categorize income and expenses Process and track vendor invoices and payments Maintain vendor records and W-9s Track tenant payments, rents, CAM charges, deposits, and reimbursements as applicable Allocate expenses to the correct company, property, or project Maintain multiple QuickBooks company files Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and other financial reports Assist with month-end and year-end accounting Prepare organized records and documentation for the CPA Research discrepancies and correct bookkeeping errors Help maintain and improve bookkeeping procedures and financial organization Qualifications 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience preferred Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience handling bookkeeping for multiple companies or entities Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills Ability to work independently and meet recurring deadlines High degree of confidentiality and professionalism Experience with construction, commercial real estate, property management, job costing, CAM reconciliations, or association accounting is highly desirable.

Are you comfortable performing bank and credit-card reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger review independently? When an account does not reconcile or a transaction appears incorrectly categorized, are you comfortable researching the discrepancy and correcting it rather than simply entering the information as provided?
