Full Job Description Salary:

$22 per hour + none

S_175036 Spherion Gainesville, FL has a well-established, local client seeking an Accountant specializing in Construction Contract Administration. This role ensures accounting practices comply with laws and regulations, manages fiscal functions, and analyzes financial data for compliance.

Position:

Temporary - Anticipated 3 months, with the possibility of a brief extension if needed

Location:

Gainesville, FL Schedule:

Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Pay Rate:

$22.00/hr

Responsibilities:

Perform core accounting functions (prepare/review documents, reconcile accounts, prepare schedules, code/enter data, monitor fund balances). Enter requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices into the system. Maintain or monitor accounting system phases and internal control procedures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Support staff, administrators, and relevant parties. Monitor construction project financial activities. Assist Construction Contract Administrators with invoice processing, purchase requisitions, data management, communications, and audit research. Other duties as assigned.

1-4 years

Qualifications:
