Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time CPA/Bookkeeper and become a vital part of our financial operations! You will manage essential bookkeeping tasks, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support our accounting functions with precision and enthusiasm. Duties Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar platforms. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations to ensure data integrity. Process payroll accurately and efficiently, including deductions, benefits, and compliance with payroll regulations. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections. Assist with financial report writing, including balance sheets, income statements, and other key financial statements aligned with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Support budgeting activities by analyzing expenses and preparing financial forecasts. Conduct technical accounting tasks such as double-entry bookkeeping, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation. Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with familiarity in accounting systems like QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage or similar software. Strong understanding of accounting concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, GAAP standards, and double-entry bookkeeping. Experience with corporate or non-profit accounting environments is highly desirable. Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial software for data analysis and reporting purposes. Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks accurately and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills.
