Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team in Jupiter, Florida on a Contract to permanent basis. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can manage a steady invoice volume accurately and efficiently while supporting timely vendor payments. The role requires strong accounts payable processing experience, sound coding skills, and the ability to work comfortably with digital tools in an evolving automated environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Process approximately 80 to 100 invoices each week with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and assign correct coding to invoices to ensure proper payment handling and recordkeeping.
  • Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities, including validating invoice details and preparing transactions for payment.
  • Support ACH payments and check run activities to help maintain consistent vendor payment schedules.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors as needed.
  • Maintain organized payment documentation and ensure records are complete, current, and audit-ready.
  • Contribute to accounts payable workflow improvements by using technology effectively and adapting to automation-related changes.
