Job Description

Job Title:
Accounts Payable (AP) Data Entry Clerk Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Data Entry Clerk to support our finance team by accurately entering vendor invoices and maintaining organized records. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry skills and basic exposure to QuickBooks.
Required:
Minimal hands-on experience in QuickBooks Key Responsibilities Perform high-volume, accurate data entry of invoices into the accounting system (QuickBooks) Review invoices for completeness and correct coding before entry Maintain organized digital and/or physical filing systems for AP documentation Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documents as needed Assist in resolving discrepancies or missing information by coordinating with internal teams or vendors Ensure timely entry of invoices to support payment cycles Support basic reporting and administrative tasks within the AP function Maintain confidentiality of all financial information Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous data entry or administrative experience preferred Basic, hands-on exposure to QuickBooks (professionally) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.) Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Work Environment Office-based Collaborative team environment with training provided Key Traits for Success Detail-oriented and highly accurate Reliable and consistent Willingness to learn and grow within accounting Comfortable working with numbers and structured processes All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
