In this vital role, you will oversee accurate recording of financial transactions, maintain meticulous records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Duties Record and process all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records. Manage accounts payable and receivable to keep cash flow healthy and up-to-date. Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data. Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance documentation. Generate detailed financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget reports to support decision-making processes. Requirements Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and non-profit accounting practices. Knowledge of GAAP standards and double-entry bookkeeping methods. Skilled in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger accounting. Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus. Ability to perform high-volume data entry with 10 key typing proficiency. Excellent analytical skills for account analysis and account reconciliation tasks. Experience with budgeting, financial report writing, and technical accounting concepts. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation processes.
