In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures. Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and data entry will be vital in maintaining smooth and efficient accounts payable operations. Duties Process and verify all incoming accounts payable invoices using accounting software such as QuickBooks, ensuring timely payments. Perform account reconciliations and review vendor statements to maintain accurate accounts payable records. Manage vendor relationships by resolving discrepancies, answering inquiries, and maintaining positive communication. Ensure compliance with internal controls requirements during all accounts payable processes. Create, review, and distribute accurate invoices to clients and customers. Record incoming payments, process checks, and apply cash receipts to the correct accounts. Maintain accurate customer files and assist customers with billing questions. Assist with month-end closing activities. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in accounts payable/receivables, bookkeeping, or related accounting roles within a corporate setting. Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms; experience with CRM is a plus. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing proficiency). Ability to analyze financial data critically and perform account reconciliation efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle client billing inquires, along with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Pay:

$39,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
